First of all we are sending our congratulations to the new government, our president and his Vice-president, Ahmed Mohamed Mohammud and Abdulrahman Zeili. Moreover, We are informing our distinguished members that we are back.

Two years ago we have founded an organization dedicated for the construction and repair of Somaliland roads and ports. For the last two years we were building the organization. Now it reached a level where the organization is ready to hit the road and work. Our mission is to see a well-developed  and well-connected Somaliland with modern roads, bridges and ports. There are others who are also working in this field but I think the country needs as many groups as possible, because transportation and communication are two huge tasks and the need is tremendous.

Transportation and communication are too extremely important areas, which are crucial to the development of any nation. The organization is called Somaliland United Ports and Roads Construction (SUPROCON). We already have a small office in the homeland. So far we contacted many organizations that deal with the area we will be focusing on. We are a global membership organization. With the advent of the new government in place we are hoping to work so hard in the areas of roads, ports construction and repair. Though we are currently focusing on Awdal/Salel and Gabiley, we are a national/global organization and our goal is to expand our work through out Somaliland.
